This portfolio showcases Ted Glenwright's interpretation of the Visual Representation methodology, a pictorial storytelling approach originally developed to convey abstract mathematical concepts.

Using the principles of Visual Representation to create a symbolic language for advertising and corporate design, Glenwright brings a unique technical and conceptual capacity to this style of work. Through a collaborative brainstorming process,he develops a visual concept to meet individual client’s needs. He then brings the concept to life through intentionally stylized narrative scenes using settings, models, costumes and lighting to convey mood and readily interpreted symbols and iconography. Once the concept is captured on film, he stylizes the image to refine and unify the final message.

The photographic examples of his Visual Representation on this website work represent both commercial assignments and individual fine art projects.
